Your Net Worth
Everything you own minus everything you owe.
Net worth is a single number: the sum of all your account balances right now.
How it's calculated
Flow adds up every active account balance:
- Cash, bank, savings, crypto accounts: balance is positive (assets)
- Credit accounts: balance is negative (debt you owe)
Net worth = assets − debt
If you have Rp 8,000,000 in your bank account and Rp 1,500,000 on your credit card, your net worth is Rp 6,500,000.
Reading the breakdown
The net worth view shows each account individually so you can see which accounts are growing and which are shrinking:
| Account | Balance |
|---|---|
| BCA Main | Rp 8,000,000 |
| GoPay Wallet | Rp 250,000 |
| BRI Savings | Rp 3,500,000 |
| BNI Credit Card | −Rp 1,500,000 |
| Net Worth | Rp 10,250,000 |
Multi-currency accounts
If you have accounts in different currencies, each is shown in its own currency. Flow does not auto-convert between currencies because exchange rates change — a converted total would be misleading.
Crypto accounts
Crypto account balances in Flow reflect what you recorded, not the current market price. If Bitcoin drops 20% but you haven't updated the balance, your net worth will show the old figure.
To keep your crypto balances accurate, record a transaction whenever you buy, sell, or the value changes significantly. Some people update monthly — do whatever matches how closely you track it.
Tracking net worth over time
Net worth is a snapshot of right now. To track it over time, make a habit of checking it at the same time each month — the first of the month works well. If the number grows month over month, you're moving in the right direction.
