Your First 5 Minutes
Get set up and start tracking in under 5 minutes.
Step 1 — Create your account
Go to the sign-up page and enter your name, email, and a password (at least 8 characters).
That's it. No credit card, no onboarding survey, no waiting.
After signing up you'll land on the onboarding screen — this is where you add your first account.
Step 2 — Add your first account
An account is anywhere your money lives — your bank account, your wallet, a credit card.
Pick a type:
- Cash — physical money in your wallet
- Bank — a checking or savings account at a bank
- Credit — a credit card (balance here = what you owe)
- Savings — a savings goal or separate savings account
- Crypto — Bitcoin, ETH, or any other crypto
Give it a name (e.g. "BCA Main Account"), choose your currency, and hit save.
Step 3 — Record your first transaction
Hit New Transaction and record something real — maybe the coffee you bought this morning.
- Type: Expense
- Amount: however much it cost
- Category: Food & Drink (you can create this category)
- Date: today (or whenever you actually bought it)
Set the date to when you actually spent the money, not today's date if it happened earlier.
Step 4 — Check your summary
Go to Analytics → Summary. You'll see your total expenses for the period.
That's your first snapshot. Every transaction you add from here makes the picture sharper.
Signing back in
When you return, sign in with your email and password. Your session stays active — you won't need to log in every time.
To sign out, tap your profile and choose Sign out. This fully logs you out across all devices.
